Oh wow, you got one of these?! Awesome, this is probably my favorite PS4 edition that has been released. Don't even care that much about it being transparent but the colors are just so nice. The other awesome one was the 20th anniversary one.

I honestly think this looks amazing. Worth the price? Probably not, but I love the look.

It's not ugly, but I never really associated dark blue colours with PlayStation.

I think another reason it cost more is because it comes with the PlayStation eye camera. It seems like its not that bad of a price.

when i bought my ps2 i bought an extra controller that was translucent. It broke after several months, less than a year. I could technically blame the controller falling but the original that came with the console also fell to the ground, so.... since then i never bought translucent hardware.

Boot it up. You've proven nothing. It may be an Xbox pretending to be a Playstation.

Still probably sounds like a god damned jet engine during the quietest and most dramatic parts of games. Or in menus.

If you noticed, the bottom screw hole covers are Cross, Square, Circle, and Triangle. Nice little detail around the Playstation logo.

I'm pretty sure the regular PS4 Pro has those as well. I'm too lazy to go flip mine over, but I'm almost 100% sure that a triangle came off mine at some point when i moved it.

Yeah they didn’t even factor in the camera for the price but whatever. It was funny watching Jason scramble to which camera would show it best and like none of them were ahaha

Holding it while in shadow wasn't the best way to show it off. How bout another look at it when it's actually visible? Eh?

Does it have LEDs to really show off that translucent blue shell? Because, if not, that seems like a missed opportunity. Though, really, this thing is going to have such limited availability, with the bulk being bought by asshats just looking to flip it on eBay, that it'd only annoy me even more if it was a better, more desirable design.

But what does it taste like? And I thought this was journalism...

I bought one of the translucent red PS4 controllers and it's super awesome. I love watching the vibration motors spin.

Am I the only one that realized it may not be shiny like they think it is? They never took the plastic film off the outside...

If anyone needs me to come over to peel that plastic film off the front, I'm available. Let me know.

Oh wow. Translucent plastic electronics look much better now than they use to. The addition of gloss makes it look much better than the flat translucence I was expecting.

Ahh this makes me pine for the old translucent controller they put out for the ps2, might still have a couple laying around somewhere in storage.

They DID make the phat PS2s in the auto color schemes. I know cuz I have one. They were QUITE limited. Initially part of an OPSM giveaway. Then some of them were sold both online and in certain Sony stores. I should really look into selling mine...
