Trailers for the Yakuza games are always amazing.

Just now playing through the first one, absolutely love it. 

Much excited! 8D Just hope the Of The End Yakuza game will also be labelled for a 2012 release soon enough.

At first I thought they dubbed it, but I guess it makes sense to not have the Japanese speech up front for a launch trailer. ...I guess? 
 
I can't say that the whole setup for this series doesn't interest me, but I wasn't particularly sold on what I played of the Yakuza 3 demo either.

I for one am excited that this is apparently exactly the same as Yakuza 3, which is exactly the same as Yakuza 2, which is exactly the same as Yakuza 1.

Looks really cool.  I'm interested in sinking a bunch of hours into this just futzing around. 

Yakuza 3 was one of my favorites last year. Can't wait for this one to drop. It looks fantastic.

Kasuma is just such a badass, but I think the multi-character aspect is very cool. This reminds me a lot of the later Yakuza Papers movies, where Hirono was a background character while still heavily featured.  
 
Which is really crazy, considering that's where these games basically draw their largest inspiration. The broad strokes of these games are very Yakuza papers. Nothing wrong with that, at all.

I played the first one on PS2 a few months back and really enjoyed it. A bit repetitive, but a fun action game. I should play the 3rd one at some point.

Japanese character models really do stick out like a sore thumb. They need to study human "male" anatomy more, this isn't PS2 generation after all.

Picked it up along with the free Yakuza 3 today I have been having a blast! The new characters are awesome.

Wow it's hard to get hyped when the narrator sounds bored out of his fucking mind. 
Like, I can just imagine him looking at the clock on the wall every few minutes wondering how much longer till he gets paid.

Those opening lines seem a bit harsh, considering recent events.

I loved Yakuza 3, I really did, but I couldn't get into the series before that game. I didn't play much Yakuza 2, but I absolutely hated the first game. From the awful dub to the clunky combat, it was just a mess. Yakuza 3 definitely fixed all of that. 
 
I'm just glad they had the option to catch up on the story from the first two, or else I would have been completely lost.

Bad ass trailer. I'd still prefer to play it with subtitles though.

I really liked that trailer. Never played a Yakuza game... this made me want to. Now if only it came with a ps3.

really liking the game so far. Very cutscene intense though in the first hour i played, but thats why i play Yakuza.

Fuck yes!  Played 1 & 2, skipped 3 as I didn't have a PS3 back then.  Can't wait for Friday.
