Ha. I waited in line at midnight too. I wasn't planning on it, but my friend was, and I was going to pick it up anyway the next day, so I figured I might as well. Anyway, I also bought the collector's edition but was glad I did. I really liked Halo 2's original box art, but then like a month before it's release, they modified it a bit and the final version was much less awesome. Because I didn't like the final standard box art, I was glad I got the collector's edition. Oh, and dude, you missed nothing in that DVD. Seriously, it was probably the most boring thing I've ever watched. I couldn't even finish it. It made me feel bad for the designers, and dude, it kinda shows some snippets of the awesomeness that Halo 2's campaign was supposed to be but wasn't. It's always disappointing to see things like that." @TheGreatGuero: Wow, I remember waiting in line at midnight to get it. Anyway, I tried to add the box art pictures to show you the difference, but apparently the new layout has that stuff kind of screwed up. I wasn't able to do it.
Also, I've learned that collector's editions really aren't usually worth the extra price.
