Aaron Rodgers was born in Chico, California. He attended Butte Community College, where he was discovered by Cal head coach Jeff Tedford. He played for Cal in 2004 and 2005 and decalared for the 2005 NFL Draft. Some predicted that Rodgers could be drafted as high as number 1 overall, but fell to the Green Bay Packers at 24th overall. He sat the bench behind Brett Favre for three seasons before becoming the starter in 2008. In first first season as a starter, he broke out for 4,038 yards passing and 28 touchdowns. He won Super Bowl XLV in 2010, defeating Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25, and set the NFL record for a single season passer rating in 2011.
