    I am back on my regularly scheduled day for an Achievement Update! Although after this week it will be taken back by Jay Leno so just a heads up. Don't worry about me, I have a ton of fans that will follow me to FOX so I should be all good and Jeff Zucker will burn in hell. Anyways, pop culture anger rant over. Achievements begin.

    Well I really need to get achievements but since I'm in school if I do have time to play games the only game I ever feel like playing is Modern Warfare 2 with my friends. Speaking of MW2 I ended up getting a 24 kill-streak today. 24! One away from my nuke which I do have in my killstreak set. It goes 7 kills for harrier, 11 for chopper gunner, and then 25 for nuke. Anyways, I was sniping on Wasteland and I was just playing when all of a sudden I got a harrier, I thought, "Cool I'll just call this in and probably get my chopper gunner." Sure enough I got my chopper and called it in. It got shot down after what I felt was a decent amount of a kills when my friend said I was on a 21 kill streak. That tied my best so far so I was excited. I started getting kills again when I realized I was at 24. My heart was going crazy because I thought I was gonna finally get my nuke but right as I lined up the last shot to get my 25th kill, the game ended. I finished the match 27-3 so that was a great game but still, SO CLOSE!
     
    Anyways, hope this update was good for you guys and I promise to start reading your blogs again soon I've just been very busy.

    I had a feeling when I clicked that MW2 was the only game you had time for. I'm glad I'm not in school anymore... or am I. You're never too old to learn.

    Your achievements tally is a little better then double mine. To be honest I dont know how I managed to crack 10K because I dont play for achievements, I just take what comes and forget about it. oh and go Team Conan!

    Nice update, GamerGeek.  Man, I wish I had the scratch to get my disk drive repaired.  As it is, though, getting caught up on demos and XBLA games isn't bad.  And I've been catching up on my backlog of PS3 games too.

    Yeah to me it's a good thing, bad thing. I mean it's nice to be in college and work towards my degree and hang out with people I love being around. But having no time for games is a problem in my book.

    Yeah I used to be like that but now I love them so much that I go for them too. I try not to play too many games just for achievements though. And three cheers for Team Conan!

    Yeah that really sucks man. I don't know what I would do if that happened to me. At least you can catch up on your backlog like you mentioned. I don't know when I'll have the time to catch up on mine.

    same here i was at 24 kill streak about to get 25 but a damn sniper from the top building got me. i was so piss because i wanted to set off a nuke for my first time.
