The Virtual Console fears god 0
Actraiser for the Super Nintendo is most notable in the annals of history in that if you were to rank every SNES game in alphabetical order, it would appear ninth. However, unless you watched AHHH Real Monsters back when Nickelodeon mattered, then it would be the first notable SNES game on the list. Ergo, Actraiser is alphabetically the most significant 16-bit release of all time. God fighting a pterodactyl In this game, you play as God. Not the real Christian God of course, the last t...

Actraiser Review 0
Actraiser was a pinnacle title in the SNES era. It was a defining video game, and is regarded as one of the single greatest games of all time, and not without good reason. The strategy works by first you choose a location to start on there will be a few demons and a temple you kill the demons which gives you more people you then direct the growth of the people towards the demons so they can seal them then the people...

Act-Raise A Little Hell 0
This is one of those great classic-era games that is loved by most, but slips under the radar thanks to more popular stuff like EarthBound or Super Metroid. But ActRaiser was a rompin', stompin', sword-swingin', god-playin' good time. I don't know if it was a controversial move back then to release a game where you literally play as an Almighty Creator of Everything, but I'm sure it took some convincing at the pitch meeting. This is definitely the kind of game where a modern sequel might work, i...
