A perfectly fine fighting game, with a lot of effort in its presentation.
Sure, some might look at the description of this game and think it's just for perverts. But, the reality is that there's not that much fanservice in this version, and a lot of effort was put into the presentation of this game. You got a hell of an animated intro, a story mode with more animation on it, and voice acting. Granted, sometimes it will feel like you're looking at a powerpoint slide, but I look at the story mode as something where they didn't have to go as far as they did with it, but I'm glad they did.
There are cute girls, yes, but there's also the core of the gameplay, which is the fighting. I'll be honest, if you played Street Fighter II, congrats, you almost know how to play this game. If you played Super Street Fighter II Turbo, or any of the SF Alpha games, you pretty much got the hang of how this game works. Instead of filling up a meter, supers are used as desperation moves here, meaning that they're only available when you're in low health. There's quick dashing in this game as well, but other than that, you'll know what to do if you have experience with the games I mentioned. If you really want to stay in familiar territory, just play as Yuka, she has the same 3 button commands as Ryu and Ken for special moves. Seriously. No hurricane kick, but the hadouken and shoryuken are there. The supers are a different matter, but there you go.
Yes, it's a little lame to describe a game like that, but hey, if you're going to copy a fighting game, copy the best, right? The soundtrack is just there, imo, it's not very special.
If you want to see more perverse art, go play the Saturn version, ya filthy coomer. This version of the game does not have the "graphic mode" - which is fine if you're just looking for a neat video game to pass the time. If you don't care for the story mode, you can play the arcade mode, which is called "normal mode" in this game.
