People say you can't beat Animal Crossing because there are no defined goals, but I say if you've collected everything in the game and fully upgraded your house, you have beaten it.  Most people got tired of playing City Folk after two months though.

I wouldn't exactly say that's beating it. My definition of beating Animal Crossing is getting every tile occupied by flowers.
 
Anyway, you can't beat Animal Crossing just like you can't beat the Sims.

Are you high?  Or from 6 years ago?

I always accepted that I had beat the game when my house was fully upgraded, and my home was decked out with everything I ever wanted.
 
And every drawer was full of bells.

I played that first one for awhile when it came out, and liked it. But when that game gets boring, it's like someone hits you in the head and you wake up, only to realize that the game is fucking horrible. I know it's not horrible, but man, just thinking about it now makes my stomach churn.
