If this is to be true, and Epic do acquire the ABP IP, well colour me interested. I didn't even realised this game existed until recently, and it seemed as though it has some neat ideas, but they weren't executed properly. And this article is strongly suggesting that epic has plans to bring it to xbox 360 as well.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that the IP was super cheap and that nothing will happen with it. There could be something else in the portfolio too, something that Epic needed and so they bought everything to make sure they got it.

APB lol

APB bombed and killed the company. They won't be keeping it alive even if Realtime are saved.

Releasing it on 360 will only make it a bigger failure of a game.

I just think that with Epic at the helm, they could do something special with the IP and its stuff like the character creator. I wasn't straight up saying I was looking forward to them porting the failed pc game to the xbox.

APB was a bad game, and I'm pretty sure Epic knows this.

I dunno. I think APB could totally be reforged into a decent and possibly even fun game, given that someone would be willing to put resources into it. Given everything that's on Epic's plate right now, I'd say it's more likely that if they bought APB it'd be for the technology that runs it, which is supposedly pretty bitchin'.

I doubt even Cliffy B could repackage APB and actually sell it to people.  That game was doomed from the start.
