Armored Core: for Answer

First gripe, What a subtitle, For answer? .... are you serious?
But anyway now for the actual game. First off the mechs look fantastic i can give them that. but the gameplay and the missions are so broken, After i made my mech and did the first few missions i was honestly bored out of my mind, They ranged from laghably easy to frustratingly hard, The bad part is
there not hard for a good reason. As the norm in this game you'll come to find you can blow the hell out of 20 battleships and a huge armored fort in one mission then next mission your fighting one suit and it dominates you hardcore.
I've never really liked the mech thing but this one is just poor, The original two armored cores were great this one is a horrible additon to a great series.

So lets get to this. First off no matter how armored you make your mech you still die in a few shots from a strong gun, Like near the end the partical beams rip you to shreds in seconds if your not careful.
So its almost useless being as large and armored as i was, The boosting system mixed with the targeting system are horrific messes, You can boost around so fast and the enemy can do the same so really you'll see blurs just flying around constantly. But after you lock onto someone you really just boost around and hold your triggers.
The stratagy in this game is this. Hold your triggers and boost around and hope you take less hits then the enemy.
No matter if you love mechs or not, No matter what you cant be so dumb as to not see this games apparent shortcommings.
besides this game is just a sash cow come in from a mech series thats being killed slowly by bad combat and horrible story.
Now all that aside if you like mechs and you dont care about depth in games, This is a low cost way to spend a day.
So i do not reccomend this game but if you must, i've given you all the tools you need to make an educated choice.
Now i'm gunna go throw my mech into the trash heap.
