Fresh off the release of Stacking, Double Fine has announced it's working on a hands-free Sesame Street game targeted to kids. In a press release blasted this morning, publisher Warner Bros. revealed Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster, an interactive storybook type of game that's being helmed by the same dudes who built Costume Quest and Brutal Legend.
Once Upon A Monster will be using Microsoft’s Kinect hardware, so expect to see a lot of gestures and movement when the game hits later this fall. WBIE says, specifically, players will be asked to dance, pretend to fly, jump, and more in a game that’ll strive to teach kids lifelong lessons in friendship, cooperation, and emotional labeling and recognition. How cute!

The Xbox 360 is the only confirmed platform (seems like this thing could probably work on Move and the Wii with some adaptations) and it’s unclear at the moment if this will be a downloadable or a retail-based title. Here's two more images:
