I Will Not Buy This StarCraft II Collector's Edition

I... want that.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare for months....until I finally caved and bought it.
 
Your resistance is futile, Brad.  Just accept it and buy the Collector's Edition.

I'll just wait 12 months until the package has halved in price (because you know they'll make too many of them) and buy it at 50 bucks. Then again, I have superhuman restraint skills (shuffles DSiXL under desk)

Yeah true, the main issue is how fast I can get the game. Having to go to the store could take many hours more than getting it online, what with the waiting for stores to open and driving..gah "

Pff 100$, I would so buy that if I was living in the US. In here (Estonia) a single normal game for the xbox (for example) costs over 100$. :(

ohhhh man, i'm sooo gettin it =) I mean I have SC 1 + brood wars but i don't care still totally gettin it

I'm not sure the WoW pet will be resellable.  Since everything uses Battle.net now, and SC2 requires an online registration to play at all (one time for solo, nobody go crazy).  I can imagine the pet and Thor skin are just automatic when you register.

I'm incredibly pissed off that Blizzard is going to charge $60 for the normal edition of the game, but god damn it its Starcraft 2. I'm going to keep telling myself not to buy it, but I know its futile. Like you Brad I will probably end up caving in and buying the $100 CE.

That *one* campaign better be extensive enough to be even worth the purchase of a regular copy, let alone this ridiculous package. I remember how disappointed I was when I played World in Conflict and heard about the separate campaigns thing.

I don't even like Starcraft all that much and I want this. As long as Blizzard keeps up the whole Mac/PC dual release thing.

Like Michael Pachter said, " Even though everybody thinks SC2 is a hard-core game, it's actually a casual game and it will sell bajillion copies."  Which in my opinion is a pity because Blizzard are lame and thank the Emperor that we have a few other studios who still make great PC games.
They should make SC free when SC2 comes out instead of adding it too the CE so they can "justify" the $100 price-point.

As much as I love Starcraft (and as much as it has a huge nostalgic factor for me) I can't see myself buying Starcraft 2 just because I won't be able to commit the amount of time necessary to actually get half decent at this game so that I don't get a, "dude you suck" message every time I lose a 2v2.

I've played a grand total of 1 hour in the beta, and screw it I want this. SC1 on a USB? 176 page art book? AWESOME TERRAN FIDDLE BEATS ON A DISC? SOLD!
