Resident Evil HD Collection Revealed in Famitsu

Now I can finally play Resident Evil 4.

I never wanna play RE4 again. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game and we played through it 
a ton of times and getting platinum on all challenges on the Gamecube - but never touching it again. 
 
Code Veronica is more interesting to me since I didn't really play the original much. 
We got through it but It's kinda hazy. If they do a good job with the HD port there it could be worth checking out.

Code Veronica was hands down the worst (main story) Resident Evil game. 

Any excuse to play through these two games is good enough for me! Achievements don't hurt either haha!
 
I think I'm a bit more excited for Code Veronica X though. I've played a lot of RE4 already.

I never beat either. I played some of both more of RE4 and couldnt beat it cause i wish it were more like 1-3. Ill get past it this time i HOPE.

I may get Code Veronica because I never got to play it (I think my big brother played a little when we had a dreamcast but I dont remember to much if he did.) but im not buying RE4 again.

God those comparisons make Resident Evil 4 look MUCH worse than I remember it looking.

resident evil 4 was bullshit. It may have had much better controls, but the atmosphere in that game didnt deserve to be called resident evil. it was dumb.

Code veronica ruled, it was the first game I bought for the ps2 and it still rules. I liked RE4 as a game, but was sad they ditched the whole umbrella/oldschool way of doing things. make an old style game with new graphics and i will hump it.

Resident Evil 4 on the Wii is the best version thanks to the excellent aiming controls. A HD makeover won't make the tank controls better on the PS3 and 360 (unless RE4 gets Move support).

This reminds me that I should get Code Veronica again since I only played it once, but probably not like this. I'd sooner go for the PS2 disc version.

I hope Mercs mode in RE4 is modified for online co-op.  That was my favorite part of RE5.

I could totally play through Resident Evil 4 again. Could play some Code: Veronica as well.

Eh, played the PS2 version literally over 10 times. I think I'm good.

Pretty cool if you ask me. I'll probably be buying both.

Unless they put these on a disc, I am out.  I hate DLC, and Capcom has not been making a good name with themselves (speaking of Bionic Commando 2 having to be online in order to play).

Ha, what's up with the comparison shots? The game unquestionably looks nicer running in 720p, but the game was not THAT dark and blurry running upscaled on an HDTV.

No PC =( If anything, a PC needs a version of Resident Evil 4 that isn't a complete disgrace. Oh well...

Holy shit, I would definitely play RE4 again in HD!

RE4 Better have a cooperative mode for the main game and mercenaries.

Oh hell yeah, I still love the shit out of RE4... Would definitely get a HD "remaster" of it.

Too bad when I think of a RE collection that probably needs an HD reboot, it's the first few games & not just the one that came out before RE5.

Pretty excited for this. I actually hope they don't change the controls too much, I think they worked perfectly for the game. Re-releasing CV though? Why pick the weakest of the "classic" Resident Evils? I guess its the easiest to HD-ify since it had fully 3D environments.
 
Would I be alone in asking for an HD release of Dino Crisis 2?

Was just thinking about breaking out the gamecube version again... Bring it on!

I'll gladly buy that at some point but it still seems like a punch in the face since we've been crying for a Resident Evil 2 remake for years now and what are they doing? Put out easy upscaled, higher resolution ports of games that look and play fine (well Code Veronica not as much as RE4) anway.
