The Next Metal Gear? Introducing Ground Zeroes

I'm kinda bored of Big Boss. A prequel with Solid Snake would be rather great though.

So there was this great anniversary event where they showed this footage...and we don't get to see it? Well fuck them...I'm not interested. I don't want to read Mark McDonald's IMPRESSIONS OF TEXT! Fuck this.

PC please, the consoles just aren't good enough for gaming any more, too dated.

Best news I could hear. It's time to get back to sneaking like a BIG BAWSSS! Also, guys, it's not Solid Snake. It's Big Boss. He's got Cold War era equipment, an eye patch, and an MSF Logo. LIKE A BAWSS!

My guess is that the name "ground zeroes" is going to show us more of the relationship between Big Boss and Zero, maybe we'll even see the beginning of the Les Enfant Terribles program?

Please be on PS4, I really want that huge leap again that I haven't felt in years!

You play as naked snake's cousins friends brother who is actually snakes son but snake doesn't know and his mother is that Lady that was a Russian spy but was really a Chinese spy and this is all shown in the last cutscene which goes for 2 hours and comes out of nowhere.

Can't wait, MGS all the way and with Kojima actually doing this one I'm now excited

I hope we don't have to play as Old ass Snake again because I hate the way he looks compared to MGS2/3

Hmm, considering the insignia / logo on snake's arm, which seems to be Militaire's Sans Frontier logo. There's a high possibility this is about Big Boss' story.

ground zeroes sounds like there planning on setting off hella nukes in this game. I still keep wanting to call the fox engine the fucks engine

I hope 'zeroes' is just bad translation or something. A new proper Metal Gear game has me excited though. I wouldn't be surprised a bit if its held off for next gen. If I was Microsoft, I'd swoop that up and save it to be the next Xbox's system seller.

Ground Zeroes is a highly loaded and risky to use phrase. Not sure what to make of it.

I just hope it's something different, and not just dragging Snake out for "one more adventure". Hopefully they'll MGS2-style surprise us.

edit: Despite rumors, I have a feeling this won't be as open world as it's being touted.

I still need to play MG4, but some of these quotes sound promising. Hope we hear more soon.
