Getting disconnected from the server every time I try to join.

Can't activate on Origin. Why is there no GB story up about that? This Origin roll-out has been embarrassing. I can't play the game I bought, not even single player.

So you cant join if you're not located in the US?

I'm activated and installed (downloading patch) at this time (SE), so I think they're getting a handle of it.

Had a bit trouble with Origin wanting to download the whole game. Turns out if you install the origin client from the CD (which using the installer will do if you don't have Origin already) it won't actually be able to install from the CDs(?!). Cancelling installation, fully quitting the client to make sure the updated version is running, and THEN re-running autostart/Install fixed it.

Unhelpfully, the UI will still talk about "Download", but the client will read from disc if available.

I activated on orgin an hour ago... it's likely that the activation servers are congested, and not down.

That's about when they started to get things under control, activation had been down for at least two hours before then.

As much as I dislike Orgin, overall... I don't think activation going down for 2 hours is necessarily something to have an entire article about (even though it does absolutely suck).

And with that said... despite having already put in my code, having it accepted and then downloading and installing...when i launch it doesn't seem to be able to activate, tells me i'm offline and sometimes tells me it's a bad install (I've "repaired" twice). I'm now really wishing I didn't go ahead and buy it to try playing on TnT... i was going to wait a month or two for shit to line out.

The bad company TNT was so great, I'm gonna have to watch this one live.

for all those complaining about the release on origin, this happens on steam too.

Hilarious TNT. Only a minor bummer they didn't read the chat at the end, the ADMIN was all about playing the basejumping level real quick.

One of the best TNT's in a while.  God damn silly.

@Thuggish: Congratz! I've been enjoying my time with it - It's definitely better when talking with people (even random internet citizens) over voice over.
