In for Grimrock. I was hoping for a deal on Dear Esther and Dustforce, but I guess there's still time. I'm interested in Arma II at the right price, but not $20. There's another few things I'm eyeballing, including the inevitable Civ 5 sale.

Nothing much anything interesting today for me, but I'm building a list...

i just wish legend of grimrock had the option to be turn based. dont even tell anyone about it, just make it a option in the settings ill find it, turn it on and everything will be cool.

I can't download any of the things I purchased during the steam sale. Why this happen?

Just picked up Saints Row the Third for £7.49 and downloading it at my max possible download speed. Huzzah!

At first I was like "None of these interest me".

And then I saw Warlock and Rayman Origins for half-off. And I was like "FUCK".

EDIT: Before I forget, Heroes VI is pretty good. Is it $25 good? Probably not.

Steam sales are the only times I've ever fallen prey to "sale" tactics. My wallet is still recovering from winter and the summer before that!

Yea! This is a nice regular, predictable miracle.

The one thing about last summer's sale that I liked was the mini-game for the tickets.

I got some silly DLC stuff, but I think most importantly, I picked up little games that I would have never touched, just for tickets.

I bought Crusader Kingdoms 2, Shogun 2, SR3 today. None of those were for me since I already own them. ><

If anyone doesn't own Terraria, for under $3, it's a ton of fun.

It's times like this that made me wish I had a computer that could run PC games decently.

Is the first daily deal always extra long? Or are they all long? The countdown on steam for the daily deals says we still got another ~24 hours 45 mins. Looks like they are adding an extra 12 hours to what the "day" should be. Do the sales overlap for 12 hours? Anyone know when the next set should drop?

Don't hold your breath. Gods & Kings is the second newest product that 2K has released this year (Spec Ops: The Line is the newest), and publishers really don't like slashing the price on something that came out less than 30 days ago. Especially since Gods & Kings has been one of the top 5 best selling things on Steam since the day it released.

Long story short, it is one of their key moneymakers for the next few months, and they can absolutely get away with keeping it close to full price for a while.
