Activision is hoping so, having this morning announced plans to run a Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer beta sometime in the month of October. The beta will be limited to the Xbox 360 and PC versions (sorry PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, Intellivision, etc.) and promises action in both the Pacific and European theaters in which the final game will take place. You can register for a token by signing up at the official Call of Duty website, or by preordering the game through GameStop.
