Thoughts on Bonfire of the Vanities?
Has anyone downloaded it yet and what do they think of it? Do you think it is better than the battle of Forli and does it have achievements/trophies?
Overall it's better than Forli, but that's not saying much; more of the same free-roaming to get to a marker on your map, to activate a "mission" where you (surprise!) assassinate someone. The DLC description mentions a new gameplay move which only amounts to a camera angle of Ezio making a long jump. I accidentally snagged the version without the 3 new secret locations because it was the first thing I saw on the stupid dashboard marketing. Oh, and no achievements so don't worry about your S-Rank.
" @Odyssey: they're templar secret locations, palazzo dei medici, santa maria dei frari and the arsenal shipyard "They were previously the gamestop and bestbuy exclusive locations.
I'm conflicted with the whole "No achievements with DLC". The problem is that Assassins Creed 2 is a really easyS Rank, if achievements were put in place for these DLC, it wouldn't be that much of an issue. They would probably be as equally easy to obtain.
Regardless of achievements, The Battle of Forli was pretty disappointing.
If a one hour (barely) experience that was cut out of the game for little to no reason is Ubi's idea of DLC, then they can forget it.
" @Lebensbaum said:Oh, and no achievements. "Sweet, I get to keep my S rank "
This is the best news out of these apparently not great packs. Thank you Ubisoft
