I just bought the Diablo 2 Battlechest and I forgot this was coming out as well. Is it worth $15 even though I have Diablo 2 to play. I know it's not out as of this post, so over the next couple days, post your opinion.

Come back again in a day when the game comes out. Or read the reviews or whatever you need to justify your purchase.

From the footage I have seen so far I would say the gameplay looks kind of generic and boring. But we have a whole thread of reviews for you to check though if you need be.

From the footage, the game seems to have a fairly unique presentation.  But combat wise, it does seem kind of generic.

if you like the genre and you have the cash, buy it. you have the rest of your life to play it

This is also kind of true (although I loved Diablo 2 back in the day).

The dynamic narrative is something I'm looking forward to.  I wish it was implemented in more games, specifically those that have a film noir-ish feel to it.

The game is really nothing like Diablo other than they both use an overhead perspective, and the combat has more depth and flexibility than some reviewers gave it credit for. But yeah, try the demo.

It does a few things unique but i don't buy games just because they look "unique" i buy for intriguing storylines, great combat systems, fun, fun, storyline, fun, combat system and um fun.

The demo felt a bit bland. I think I'll skip this game and get From Dust instead.

Mechanically speaking, no, but it's an incredibly well built game in all respects and $15 is a STEAL
