You know, I just finished Batman: Arkham Asylum, an awesome game worth every bit of praise it gets. I wondered for a moment what a futuristic version of this game would be like, and now I can't get the idea out of my head: I want to see a Batman Beyond game in this vein.
 
I make no secret of the fact that the main characters in Arkham Asylum being voiced by the actors from the Batman cartoons was a major attraction for me, and boy what I would give to hear Will Friedle in the leading role as Terry McGinnis once again (Kevin Conroy would join him at the comm). Think what fun the player could have with the future Batman's high-tech gadgets, like camouflage, flight, thermal vision and his built-in rebreather.
 
Someone needs to email WB or Rocksteady now and tell them to make it happen!

Fuuuuuuuuuck yeaaah!! I fell in love with this idea the second I read the title. Then I was immediately disappointed because it'll probably never get made.

Hell yeah, I would be all over this like white on rice. All flying around kicking ass and taking names, Bruce on the comms yelling at you for enjoying it too much...

I'm not that clued up on present-time Batman mythos, but I know there are some discrepancies, such as Barbara Gordon becoming Oracle. In Batman Beyond, it looks like she hung up the cape as Batgirl and that's it. I guess it's an "alternate future". "
