I'd like to get this game, but I've heard about the issues with servers and lag. Have these been getting better? Should I go ahead and get the game (on the 360) or wait some more? In other words, is the game playable in it's current state?

I've had no problems playing it at all.

Well, I haven't had any issues getting into games or with lag, but there is a weird water glitch that I have stumbled onto a couple times. That's really the extent of my problems, so I think you should just go for it.

No problems anymore, only some occasional sound glitches for me.
