The sprinting in the first Bad Company is awful. Sure, it got you places quicker, but if you came across and enemy or an enemy spawned in front of you, you are screwed because it takes a full second to bring your weapon up, for whatever reason. I'd hate to have this make it into the sequel.

You're complaining about sprinting? What about parachutes!? EVERY OTHER BATTLEFIELD GAME HAD THEM EXCEPT BAD COMPANY!

I never had a problem with the springing. If I had the possibility of running into an enemy I would always stop sprinting.

@TheMustacheHero: I didn't care for parachutes that much because I never flew the helicopters.

@Agnogenic: I try to do that as well, but sometimes when I'm at MY base an enemy will come out from behind a building, and I can't do anything about it.

Don't know if this matters or if you already know, but different weapons take different amounts of time to bring up.

Killzone 2 does this also, I like it, feels more "Correct" you should have the option to run a little slower with your gun still pointed or run faster with your gun down.

Every other BF game had plenty that Bad Company didn't...and I'm sure BC2 won't be any different and will have no reason once more to care a single bit for it. I'll wait for a real Battlefield sequel.

The only thing wrong with sprinting in BF:BC was that you had to hold down the stick to sprint. That was fixed in 1943 so it's expected that it'll be fixed in BC2 as well.

The sprinting was fine.  Hell, Call of Duty 4 had the same thing going with it...except my stamina would eventually wear out.  THAT sucked!

Call Of Duty 4 didn't have the same thing. As soon as you stopped sprinting, you would bring the gun up. You woudn't have to wait a full second for it to appear.
