Okay now that you read that, you might at first think this is something serious, that something happened...something bad.
 
I highly doubt that, I put the pieces together, and I see it quite plainly. This is a huge PR move. This person's "source" could easily be feeding this guy false information that will help build a story. I don't know how this is going to play out, but I know that something is fishy. I wouldn't be surprised if Activation and IW created this huge fake story on the day BC2 comes out.

Something is afoot Duders.  This weird shit that has happened today has to be connected somehow.  

Why would they do that? Even if they wanted to divert attention from BC2; this isn't going to do jackshit to make people forget about it or ignore BC2. Maybe for a few minutes or an hour but that's about it.

Battlefield boyscouts are so annoying. This will hurt Activision shareholders so no it's not a publicity stunt; you think someone won't be buying Bf:BC2 tomorrow because Activision are acting like a mafia... do you ever think before you type?

That's just pathetic if it is a publicity stunt.  It's downright dirty playing.  All is fair in war, but IW already made one of the best selling games of all time, why do they want to cripple BC2? 
 
Not that it matters, though.  Battlefield is and always will be far ahead of CoD, and I will be purchasing and playing the hell out of my copy of BC2 tomorrow.

I don't see how something like this could possibly hurt BC2 or it's sales in any way - how can you guys even speculate it'd be some kind of a PR stunt?
I just don't see how it would affect BC2 at all. It's a headline, not somebody jacking up the game delivery trucks. I don't fucking get it.
