Has it gotten better? I remember lag and glitches. How does the game play now?

With lag and glitches. 

The lag is still horrible man but there is a fix, I just posted it in the bad company 2 forums, look it up if you want to play online on PS3 or 360.

Yeah, just go to your EA account online and change your region to the UK and lag be gone.

Alternately, download todays patch and the lag is gone.

Because we continental EU people have servers everywhere. There's like a server in every basement from London to Moscow. We're all up in them internetz. Know why? Cause most communication services were socialized in most of these countries - until them hardcore capitalists had to push and privatize everything. 
 
Profit hinders progress. At least when it comes to building a lot of kick-ass infrastructure at a loss. Just sayin'. Hearing mad hating polemics on socialized anything out of America. Remember - that's mostly rich folks who want to get even richer by making a business out of what's necessary. Bloodsuckers. 
 
Imagine if America would put 'War in Afghanistan/Irak' kind of taxpayer money and manpower into building internet infrastructure... your internet would be so high-powered, you could plug your ethernet cable in your mouth and pass it for a full meal.
