@Ahmad_Metallic: I mean in terms of making the franchise truly mainstream. Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 were successful games, but Call of Duty 4 made it mainstream and put it on the level of Halo in terms of making it universally recognizable to casual gamers as well as hardcore.

Yeah, flashbangs definitely help there. For me, when that checkpoint loaded, I was already 1-2 bullets away from death so I eventually just spun around, tossed flashbangs, and ran for my life.

Do you have hardware acceleration disabled in display properties? I had to turn it off once and forgot to turn it back on. Steam games wouldn't launch.

25.85 on 360 And yeah, the auto-aim doesn't really help much. It's quicker to move your sights manually and quickly. Plus, you don't have the precision of a mouse.
