Announced on the Bombcast today that Vinny, Alex, and Brad will be leaving the site this Friday.

Please use this thread to say goodbye, share good memories, and don't speculate about life choices. Let's celebrate the wonderful tenure of all three terrific people.

To call this the end of an era would be a massive understatement. It's impossible to wish anything but the absolute best for those three going forward. Giant Bomb will absolutely never be the same. Wherever they end up going will be incredibly lucky to have them.

All the best to everybody (I am reading on Twitter that Rorie is also leaving? Is this confirmed or just Twitter people making things up?) that is leaving.

Thank you for all you have done for this site and it's users, Kerbal Space Program, Hitsmas and many other things truly gave me happiness that will not be forgotten. I hope all of them go on to work or be available from time to time for podcast visits (reasonably of course) so we can still hear from them. Not sure what to say as this really does feel like a huge change.

Lockdown has left me 4 months behind on the podcasts for the first time since I started following the site, but I've had to break my rule of listening to them in order today to join the chat. I've been premium for about 10 years and the podcasts with these three duders have been a massive part of my life in that time. All I can really say is thanks for the memories!

I had to live through this once with the end of 1UP and it sucks just as bad as this but i been listening to these guys for damn about 20 years in some for off and on. I want them and their families and loved ones to have the best possible lives they can.

Wow. Best to all, leaving and staying. I can't stress how much I've enjoyed the entire crew over the past decade-plus. You guys were a big part of my life, and I really can't thank you enough for that.

Still reeling from this news, though in retrospect I guess it wasn't entirely unexpected. Best wishes to Alex, Vinny and Brad in their future endeavors.

I began watching Jeff when he and Ryan started Arrow Pointing down back in 07 I think it was.

When Vinny and Brad joined in 08, it all just seemed to click with Alex following soon after. They've been with me for 13 years at this point in my life since I was just 14 years old and helped shape me into the person I am today.

I am...Completely devastated by the news. I can only imagine what Jeff is thinking at this point with the company being what it is.

Thank you for everything Vinny, Brad, Alex! I didn't really start to follow one game site consistently until Giantbomb formed in 2007. I've read plenty of other sites here and there but Giantbomb was always the one for me.

Silly to speculate but I wonder what this means for the future of the site?

I guess we'll find out soon.

In the back of my mind I always thought to myself, "how long are they gonna keep doing this?"

Vinny, Brad and Alex are amazing lads and I've enjoyed listening to them for years. Giantbomb has been such a positive rock that it's hard to imagine it without these three.

GB has been a big part of my life for 10 years. This is so hard for me to process right now. I wish I could have been there from the very beginning but I'm glad I at least got to spend all those years watching the crew. I'm heartbroken.

Damn, this sucks, I guess we now know why there's has been so little content lately.

I hope they all land on their feet, this site really has been a big part of most of my adult life.

I'll admit I got bummed for a minute, but it also means that the guys get to move on and do bigger and better things, they've earned that for all the work they've done both here and formerly at Gamespot.

For both Vinny and Alex, watching alot of the GB East content has kept my spirits up, especially during the darker moments in my life. Mass Alex, We Be Trucking, Vinnyvania, all of that are the tops of this website. Brad also has been a great guy to listen every week on the podcasts especially when he gets down into the deets on technical shit. Loved watching him break on Breaking Brad and the Astroneer stuff between him and Vinny were just a delight.
