So the walmart near me has this game for $20. I understand at launch this game had a lot of problems on the PS3 and I also understand that Sony, not Sega, put out a patch that allowed you to install the game on your hard drive making the load times faster. So is this game worth it on the PS3 even though it still has graphical problems like tearing and drops in framerate?

I'd say $20 is worth it, yeah.

I paid £40 for it and I don't regret that one single bit. It's really not as bad as people seem to make out.

I haven't played that version, but if it's playable- absolutely. I think Bayonetta may have been my Game of the Year for 2010.

Bayonetta was my GotY last year and I played the PS3 version. But you have to install if you want to be able enjoy the game, the load times are ridiculously long and frequent without it.

Yes. Absolutely. I bought it for £12 (UK) a while ago, and having played it I would probably pay a lot more if I had to.

It has slight frame rate drops and thats it.  It isn't noticeable unless your looking.

One of my favorite games on the PS3, must buy.

I thought the PS3 demo was pretty rough compared to Xbox 360 but I have the luxury to compare. The full game might be better then the demo they have for it. I got my copy of it for 10$ at Family Video for 360 and was pretty stoked.  I wouldn't think the PS3 version would be worth 20$. It's really a matter of how much you value money.

I have the ability to compare because I did play both (I told my friend with the PS3 version that I didn't have the 360 version even though I did, just wanted to see what all the fuss is about :P) so I borrowed it and while there is a pretty huge difference, especially in the muddiness of screen and textures, it's not something you'll notice because you're not playing the 360 version immediately afterwards or before. So I say yeah get it. It's awesome.

I'd say so, I was never a big fan of it though.

Make sure you install the game and patch it and you should be fine.  The install really helps with the looooooong load times.
