Jin Kisaragi is a Major within the 4th Thaumaturgist Squadron of the Novus Orbis Librarium. His Drive Ability is called Frost Bite, which freezes opponents.
Jubei the cat was one of the Six Heroes, Ragna's teacher, Kokonoe's father and the cat-person whose genes would later give birth to the entire Kaka clan of cat-people.

Litchi is a doctor who runs a health clinic in Kagutsuchi while she searches for a way to revert Arakune to his formal self. She uses her Matenbou to beat down her opponents.
An energetic squirrel-girl that first appeared as an NPC in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger before being made available as DLC for Continuum Shift. As a student, she was friends with Noel and Tsubaki.
Nine the Phantom is an important character in the BlazBlue story, with connections to several of the characters.

A soldier in the Novus Orbis Librarium. A classmate and friend of Noel Vermillion who has been tasked with hunting both her and Jin down for the NOL in the epilogue of the story.
ν-13 (pronounced 'Nu-13') is a playable boss character in BlazBlue. A cyborg girl who rises from the Cauldron under the Library of Kagutsuchi and seeks to merge with Ragna in an attempt to destroy the world.
Valkenhayn is a mysterious man who was once part of the "Six Heroes". He now serves as a butler to Rachel Alucard.
Yuki Terumi is one of the main villains of the BlazBlue series and Hazama was his artfical vessel until they seperated in Chronophantasma
