Guys, there won't be dub-step in the game. PREORDER CANCELLED

But here's what it shows off in case you don't watch the video for whatever reason.

    • Plenty of enemy types. Robots, Cloaking Winged Beasts, Tunneling Snake Worm things.
    • Guns (derp)
    • The guy who gives the commentary says that they're making fetch quests that keep updating as you complete steps. Instead of just returning to the bounty board once you've found (X) of (Y), which sounds interesting to me. So basically making more side quests more interesting, but that's subjective so...
    • Shows off Dwarfzerker and the new Siren's Active Skills.
    • You can get skills that make your elements even more effective when combined. The example he says is that PhaseLock+Slag(New element that boosts other elements)+Lightning would become a devastating combo. Of course Slag by it's nature is only useful when combined, so take that as you will.
    • By looking at a gun's design you'll be able to tell it's manufacturer, element, and type.
    • He talks about effective use in combining Skills with guns and Active Skills.
    • No matter your level difference, you will be able to do quests in Coop, no more "Incompatible Quests"
    • Drop In Drop Out SplitScreen. Not sure if it's for PC, however.

I'm already sold, but man, this just all looks great. The best part for me was that they're improving the side quests, they got a little too tedious for me in Borderlands 1, but whatever.

Why did they have to change my Siren skill?! I hope the new one is as good as phase walking was.

Don't care about dropin-dropout split screen, I want online/system link with split screen

Also "Borderlands isn't slapstick. Its very much dark humour..." Yeah Dubstep is totally serious and dark.

I'm glad I know there is somewhere I don't have to hear it.

Excited for this game, but I want to see the assassin already. Seems like he'll be cool, love the katana.

I hope they up the RPG story elements a little bit. It would be cool if there were more people, items, and armor pieces like a Fallout game.

Online split-screen is in. Last we heard they were having technical issues with connecting two online splitscreening systems together, but you'll be able to connect to regular solo online players when you split screen online for sure.

On Gearbox's site they have stated the 2 online players cannot both have guests(Although I though that was a final thing, are they working on putting it in?). In any game there can be only one player with a split screen buddy, which sucks, but having drop in/drop out in an online co-op game is great for dudes who constantly have friends over at their place for just 30 minutes or so, like me.

@Arker101: You're right, it's likely a final thing. I just didn't mention it as being set in stone because they haven't said anything about it in awhile.

As long as they improve the framerate (seriously, the PS3 version's framerate would drop into the single digits any time there was smoke) and make splitscreen not complete ass, I'm down for more borderlands.

I'm actually going to buy GOTY edition today just to get anticipated for this. With that said, I still feel that split-screen in Borderlands is atrocious.

There have been some iron sights shown previously if I remember right. There was one launcher shown that did for sure. They likely just didn't show because they'd rather show the majority of what's happening on screen instead of focusing on one enemy and having the gun cover the bottom of the screen.

@Solh0und: I agree that the splitscreen for 1 was an abomination, but I hope 2 is going to be a lot better, but we haven't seen it with a hud yet, but it doesn't seem like Gearbox would mess it up with all of the promotions so far mentioning it.

@MentalDisruption: I gotcha, but it would be nice if two people could have two guests, I don't know why they can't do that, though.

    @DrLove: @Aquablak: Sure thing,
