Borderlands is a first-person shooter RPG from Gearbox Software that puts players into the shoes of one of four playable characters as they traverse the hostile planet of Pandora in search of a mysterious "Vault," said to contain priceless unknown riches and alien technologies.
You do get to keep your guns. Also, when you finish Playthrough 2, the enemies will scale to level 50 and 51 with even better loot drops. That's when the best loot comes and it gets really challenging. Enemies also change their names again, haha.
@MistaSparkle: no you keep your lvl from the first play throught but this time the bad guys are little tougher. yes you get to keep all your guns. No, but if you did rescue all the claptraps that you would have 36 inventory slots to fill up. but in some cases i heard that in the second play through the claptraps will give you a another inventory slot to fill up. but thats if your lucky or not its entirely up t o the game. I haven't tryed it myself yet because iv been busy with other games, but i will once the season calm's down a little.
It's the same character you have in play through one, but the missions just start all over. And yes you can get more inventory slots. You can have a total of 42.
@androdro: there isnt a 3rd playthrough. However if you kill the endboss in playthrough 2, the enemies in that playthrough will rescale to 50-51 level throughout the game. You cant do the missions again though. This is unofficially referred to as playthrough 2.5, but you cant do any new missions because its not really a new playthrough.
