Abandoning Quests

Is it possible to abandon old, uncompleted quests? I'm trying to get through the new DLC, but every time my quest log loads that unending list of completed and uncompleted quests my eyes glaze over. I know you can sort the quests differently, but is there any way to make completed or unwanted quests disappear?
