For those of you out there who are playing the game, what's been your favorite part so far?
Was it the mind blowing part that changed the way you looked at time in a video game? Or was it the other mind blowing part that changed the way you looked at time in video games?
Or Hey! Maybe it was that other, OTHER mind blowing part that changed the way you think about time in video games?
All kidding aside, I think my brain literally exploded when Braid started using old school video game ideas and phrases as a metaphor for personal journey and life  experience. How crazy must Jonathan Blow be to try and pull that off in a damn video game? And how smart must the dude be to get that to work in the context of text ballons, and not come off as hokey or crass?

Right now, metaphors and personal journeys aren't on my mind, but rather discovering the solution to the last section of World 5. I'm developing a migraine trying to decipher this damn puzzle...

UPDATE: Ha! Finally got it. Now I just have three remaining in World 5, and the puzzle will be complete. Next up: World 6.

For a downloadable game Braid's music is unbelievable. The orange background beginning was amazing. The painted backgrounds are incredibly amazing. The whole thing so far is unbelievable.

I always thought the game looked beautiful, but when I actually started playing myself it just blew me away...and I was also surprised by the quality of the writing...there isn't too much of it, but it's really well written. Honestly I have to say that everything is the best part...the game has lived up to my expectations and exceeded them. That's not something I can say often.

I'm right there with everyone on the beginning and end. Although I love the little T-Rex's that greet you at the end of a world.

The best? Well, the whole game is made exceptionally well, but something that stands out for me is the ending. I thought it was amazing.

All the red books have an alternative, hidden text. I won't spoil it, but I haven't been able to figure the third one out yet.
