    Worth the wait.

It feels like it's been 3 years waiting for this game...oh wait it has. This game has been delayed--then delayed--then delayed--then delayed.I think there's a few more delays in that list, but I also think you get the point that the game has been in development for a long time.

This is the third entry into the BIA series and is easily the worst of the three.Which may sound like I'm saying this is a bad game, but it's not.You play as Staff Sergeant Matt Baker as he try's to command his friends in this WWII Shooter.Hell's Highway brings back a lot of the old characters back from the earlier games.Characters such as Red,Baker,Corrion,Jacob Campbell,Paddock, and many others.

It may just be because I just got done with Too Human, but this game is a great game. But that doesn't mean it doesn't have some technical flaws.

One complaint I have is the new "dig-in" system.All-in-all it works pretty well but there is some flaws in it.Like you pop up by pressing the analog stick up, so if your trying to move on the cover to the left or right then you might end up accidentally pressing the stick up a little bit and pop out of the cover and get shot. Also, getting out of cover when your dug-in is a pain.

Another frustrating thing is the grenade accuracy.Throwing them are so awkward. You can't ever get the grenade into a small area like you can in other war games.Your press R1 to throw the grenade which is dumb because usually it's R1 to shoot so you'll find your self throwing grenades like crazy when your in close combat.

I know your asking, if your in close-combat then just melee them!Which I would do...if there was a freaking melee button! This is the worst part of the game.No melee.I fount myself having to reload almost every time I get in close combat which wouldn't be an issue if I could use my gun to hit the guy.Well I pretty much just stated my main complaints so I need to get to some of the good stuff.

The blood and gore! It's great.Sometimes the action camera angle things are annoying but other times they are so pleasing and are so satisfying.Watching people's heads and half of their body's go flying, is priceless and never really get's old.

It's the BIA series so of course your getting the same old story--which is still really amazing.A deep, personal story that really makes you involved in the soldiers life.I'm not gonna say the ending of the game, but it's so damn good and kinda leaves you wondering but is still so worth the three year wait.

The combat is great and the AI is fair.Your team will occasionally act like idiots and run in the complete opposite direction you told them too, but most of the time they are very responsive.
    Singleplayer:5 stars

Multiplayer:The multiplayer is nothing special but is still pretty good for a little while but after about 2 day's of playing it you'll realize that playing Call of Duty or Gears of War's multiplayer is a lot better than this one. There is some lag thrown into the online which is disappointing.Another thing that's disappointing is that there is no online co-op.
    Multiplayer:3 stars

Re-play value:Most game's with mediocre multiplayer is usually lacking in the re-play value department. But since the story is so good and the combat is fun, you'll probably want to play through this story a few more times.
    Re-play value:4 stars

End It!All-in-all this game is a definite rent to anybody and everybody but to people that are fans of the series or just fans of shooter games, this is a buy.Your guaranteed to enjoy not just the beautiful body parts flying, but the amazing story too.

I played the Full Game Trial of this game on PSN. My opinions are only about the first hour of the game.Hell's Highway is my first foray into the Brothers in Arms series. The story seems to be woven deeply into the wider Brothers in Arms series. The pistol in the game will come to play a large role, I believe. Along with the deep story, the visuals help to make the interplay between the characters much more detailed and believable then almost any other first person shooter set in WWII.With only ...

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway PS3 Review 0

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is a World War II squad tactical shooter. In the game you play as Ssgt. Baker, commander of an airborne army squad. The story is like a epic theatrical movie. There are many characters to know and some you might get attached to.The campaign takes you through many environments from warehouses to the open fields of Holland. The gameplay is mostly move here and suppress that enemy. There's a lot of tactics to put in. Your MG squad will suppress the enemy and tear up...
