I agree, but I have never liked call of duty. 

yea I still think its fun, but only by myself.  I'd rather play Battlefield with my friends where I can actually assist them in different ways.  Not to mention in CoD everything starts to feel the same after awhile (stale as you said)  while in Battlefield bad company 2 every game can play out differently.   

I bought it, played the single player campaign then traded it in for Pokemon White.

I'm having a lot more fun with ARMA 2 then I had with any of the COD games past United offensive.

People can dislike CoD all they want but it's annoying how there's a post every single day about how it's garbage. Call of Duty is some bullshit. I hate how the developers gloat over gouging DLC prices and still sell it like crazy. I hate how it comes out every damn year and hasn't changed since the first Modern Warfare. I hate all the players: the clans that ruin everyone's fun and the newbies who fuck up the spread. I hate Bobby Kotick, and Zampella and West. I hate the cheaters, the spawn algorithms, the overpowered guns you can only get at the high levels. Mostly though, I hate myself for buying it.

You're just over a year behind me. I realized MW2 was an expansion pack for Cod 4, just like WaW and Blops. Not worth buying them again. After what happened to IW and how Activision makes games in general has lead to me deciding to not buy Activision games new anymore.

To me COD  has always been garbage I never saw what was so special about cod4 IMO.

No, but seriously, CoD's multiplayer is still good, everyone's just bored of it. I felt like BLOPS, more than any other CoD, battled the camping problem.

It sucks for BLOPs, because I felt it was a strong step up from MW/MW2, a lot of people gripe over how bad MW2 gotten, but they forgot that half of the team left during that game's cycle, so it was very unlikely it was gonna get patched anytime soon.

I don't really see the point of this thread if you're not going to specifically tell us why the multiplayer is bad. The only thing even remotely close to an actual reason is the part about campers, and if that's entirely what you're basing your hate of CoD off of, Battlefield is a terrible alternative. The rest of this post basically boils down to "it's shitty because it's shitty". Whether it was your intention or not, it seems like you posted this mostly because you want validation (or because you just be trollin'). If that's the case, take a look at almost any thread or news story on this site (or the entire internet for that matter) regarding CoD and you will see that there are plenty of other people out there that hate it too! I'm all for threads bitching about games, but don't beat around the bush with nonspecifics. You dislike CoD for a reason, so tell us how you really feel!

I've never been a huge fan of the multiplayer experience in the CoD games, with 3 and World at War being the exceptions (WaW earns major points for not having any goddamn helicopters, leading to far less spawn kills.) Always been more of a Battlefield guy. CoD has been hopelessly broken and unbalanced for a little while now. Anybody here seen the 501/8 KDR video on YouTube? It's absurd that a game can release in that state in 2010.

I think Blops is the best CoD since 4 and I enjoy the shit out of it but the next game needs a major overall. If IW/Treyarch don't revamp the gameplay mechanics and a modern graphics engine I think I'm done. CoD can't keep going status quo while their are games out there that look like Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 out there.

As someone who loves Battlefield far, far more than Blops, what are you talking about? Have I been playing the Recon class in Bad Company 2 wrong this whole time? There are some damn good camping spots in BC 1/2. Hell, there's been pretty serious camping since BF1942.

I agree, it got old for me in COD4 though.

I never stay playing call of duty games mostly because i don't enjoy killstreaks.   Otherwise it's a pretty solid multiplayer shooter.  but i find myself enjoying class based multiplayer shooters like Battlefield and TF2.

CoD, to me, is the mindless action flick of games. A weekend with the campaign, some fucking around with Zombies mode (on Treyarch years), MAYBE a wee bit of MP, and I'm good. Never awful, never amazing, just a weekend shootin' dudes. Nothing wrong with that.

In almost every Call of Duty complaint thread I see, one of the main problems is camping.  Honestly, this is basically just an excuse for someone who is really bad to say the game sucks.  If you get killed by a camper just throw a grenade at him your next life, it's not hard.
