In this reboot of the beloved Castlevania franchise, Gabriel Belmont goes on a quest to defeat the sinister Lords of Shadow, who are preventing the souls of the departed from passing on to the afterlife, in order to obtain from them a magical mask that will bring his murdered wife Marie back from the dead.
@CptBedlam: You know, I'm really trying to take the high road with you, but you're making it incredibly difficult to do so. The game wasn't for me. Period. Accept it. Move on.
@CptBedlam: Those XBOX screen shots look decent. However, as mentioned, I played it on PS3 where it had more jaggies than I could deal with. Not to mention, while I'm not a sandbox gamer, I do like to at least be able to fully control the camera angles. It bugged me in the God of War series, it bugged me on Castlevania. The PS3 is great with graphics on their exclusives (God of War 3, Uncharted series, LBP, MGS4). However, the multi-platform releases like Castlevania and even Enslaved look very jagged and washed out to me. I need a heavy dose of anti alias, so that's why most of my gaming is done on a PC rig with an Xbox controller. But for the exclusives (like previously mentioned), I'll purchase and play on the PS3.
These are the two most trustworthy and prolific game tech comparison and analysis sites on the net and no word of overly bad jaggies on the ps3 in either of the comparisons. You just want to hate.
