The armored flea men were pretty bad, but yeah the medusa heads are so much more annoying than even that.

FLEA MEN.  I cannot stand tiny enemies, but adding in all that damn hopping usually just has me suck it up and run through them when possible.  Hate those little jerks!

I'm gonna be extra specific and say the yellow Medusa Heads; taking minor damage and falling into environmental hazards is always a pain in the ass, but being turned to stone so you take extra damage while you mash the buttons to free yourself? So, so much worse.
