I'm really looking forward to Catherine, but I live in the UK, and...well, games like that just don't come out here. 
 
I'd be looking to import a US version for the PS3 (At least they did the region free stuff right eh), but I'm not entirely sure where I'd go about doing it! I've checked amazon, and I can't  seem to find a pre-order, never mind an import. 
 
Is anyone else doing the same, and/or could recommend anything? Cheers!

Honestly it's eBay or Amazon I'd say. Although I don't know if Amazon ships games out of region.

VGP.ca maybe? Not sure, check Catherine's official website and they have a bunch of websites where you can pre-order the game listed on the pre-order page.

So incredibly frustrating. If its fit to be released, its fucking ludicrous that it can't be shipped to Europe aswell. I can see this being annoying to buy

There you go. Will cost you inbetween 45-50 euros. Never use play-asia for importing to europe.

I used planetaxel.com for P3P, and I will be using it for Catherine. P3P took a a few weeks to get here though (I'm from Portugal, btw).

I face a similar problem (UK gamer looking to import), and I'm even more adamant to do so now I've played through the demo. Can anyone vouch for  videogameplus.ca anyone in the UK used the service before without problems?

Ebay. I buy UK games that don't come out in the US that way all the time.

I've used this guy several times before, quick delivery, perfect condition but not cheap, naturally. He's got pre-orders up already for Catherine, £60.

Dude, £60 for the standard version? You can get the deluxe edition for £60 from videogamesplus and £55 at planetaxel, and the standard editions for around £40 from there, shipping included.

I've had bad experiences with some import sites before, games arriving 2 weeks later with the disc rattling around inside all scratched up. I have no problems paying a little extra for 1-2day delivery and perfect condition.

I just pre-ordered the standard edition from VideoGamesPlus and it only cost me about 45 GBP, shipping included. Plus you get that cool pre-order bonus shit too (soundtrack and art book, or something like that). 
 
I was gonna opt for Planet Axel, but I found a few forum threads via Google where people had problems contacting staff at the site for support and stuff. On the flipside, all I've heard is rave reviews for the service from VideoGamesPlus, so for a few extra pounds I thought I'd go with those peeps.

I live in the U.K and luckily for me there is a shop I go to that sells american import games.  They put up a poster for Catherine as soon as the American Date was announced and were taking pre-orders.  They told me it should be in within a week of its american release and will phone me to tell me when it arrives.

Sounds cool. Whereabouts is this shop? And how much are they charging for the game?

Shops in Glasgow.  It will be around £40 - £45.  They may be getting in some of the deluxe edition but they don't know yet.  If they do they will charge about £55 for them.

Importing it from PlanetAxel as well, the Love is over edition. £55 for the package, seems very reasonable. I dont mind if i takes a couple of weeks to arrive since im preoccupied with other games as it is (Persona 3 :P) but yeah cant wait to get round to playing this bad boy...and also sleep with my catherine pillow held closely to my chest :P

Is the Xbox version region free?
