    Christian Cage is a professional wrestler currently working for the WWE. His real name is William Jason Reno. He was born on November. 30, 1973 in Ontario, Canada.

    Before joining the World Wrestling Federation he held the East Coast Wrestling Association title. He joined WWF in August 1998 along with his friend, Adam Copeland, also known as Edge. His best period in the federation was the tag-team period when he wrestled along with Adam Copeland and won the tag-team titles several times. However in 2004, he began his single career which brought him some gold, but not as much as he'd expected.

    On October. 31, 2005, his contract with WWE ended and though being offered another contract and a greater chance of becoming a world champion/main eventer where actually decided to take a pay cut in order to pursue this main event status he decided to leave and join Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. There he debuted on Genesis and managed to get his hands on the World Heavyweight Title 2 times.

    Since the second title reign, he never really came back to power and mainly just worked some of the younger superstars. With this happening and the fact that WWE still wanted him back and still promised a WWE Championship shot, he let his TNA contract expire and returned to the WWE.

    Since Christian returned to the WWE, he has managed to get into the Money in The Bank Ladder match at Wrestlemania 25. Also being under the ECW brand, he captured the ECW Championship by beating Jack Swagger at Backlash. At WWE Extreme Rules he lost the title in an Extreme Rules triple threat match to Tommy Dreamer. After a failed attempt to get the title back at The Bash, Christian reclaimed the belt at Night of Champions. Since then, he has become the longest reigning ECW champion of the WWE era. During that time, he defended the title against William Regal, Shelton Benjamin, and Ezekiel Jackson.
