    A good relatively unique experience

Not having played the original Crysis I came in with almost no expectations for this game, and while the first 20 some odd minutes didn't exactly have me sold, I eventually got into the rhythm of the gameplay and started to enjoy it.

    • Generally speaking I feel like you get some of the most unique environments in a first person shooter here, not many games let you fight on skyscrapers, jump between buildings, or traverse large urban earthquake damaged areas like this one.
    • Once you start to figure out how to properly utilize your shield and invisibility you'll start to get a better feel for HOW you want to play the game. It actually felt really similar to playing Deus Ex to me, where the combat sequence never really feels designed as much as it just kind of happens, which makes for a very organic experience, but one that often feels messy at the same time.
    • The graphics look great, but for whatever reason the frame rate appears to take a dip just when shooting your weapon and I definitely experienced more than my fair share of slowdowns.
    • I enjoyed the multiplayer far more than I anticipated, going invisible and setting yourself up to get the drop on someone, or putting up your shield and running into a room adds a new element of strategy that differentiates itself from other MP games out there now.
    • Generally speaking I would recommend the game, to put it simply I feel like you get a gameplay experience that feels a lot more like Deus Ex, but with its own interesting plot, great graphics, and unique environments.

This time, the game can actually be played on systems available right now and not ones that are just coming on to the market...several years after launch. They have simplified the engine a bit, but it still has large vistas and many ways to attack your foes. It just has one minor problem. For most of the game...it just isn't all that much fun. At the end, once your suit is powered up, you no longer...

"For a transitory enchanted moment man must have held his breath in the presence of this continent, compelled into an aesthetic contemplation he neither understood nor desired, face to face for the last time in history with something commensurate to his capacity for wonder." -F. Scott Fitzgerald  First off, let's just get this out of the way. We all know about Crysis and what it stands for. The graphics look amazing. Or stunning. They might look both. They might be able to cover both t...
