    So I am playing Crysis on my PC, which is relatively upgraded (6gb ram, nvidia gtx 285, so on), but when I play crysis, even at a lower widescreen res, it runs @ 30 fps.

    I can play Crysis Warhead on full settings with more than 30 fps, and if i lower the res i get 60.

    I also noticed that pressing the '~' key tells you the errors that are occuring and look what I am getting:

     I HAVE ERROR!
     I HAVE ERROR!

     Im sure fixing these will help.

    Yep, Crysis is notorious for its shitty coding, as awesome as it looks. Be happy you don't have a multi-GPU setup, as I bluescreened more times playing it then I did with all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games combined.

    Make sure it's fully updated to the latest version. I had gonza video problems with a similar setup until I patched it.

    I don't know about the console errors but I recommend you just update drivers and patch to latest version before you try anything else.

    If I remember correctly, 1.1 fixes multi-GPU issues. Try that first, then 1.2, then maybe 1.21 (1.21 requires 1.2). All three links are included on this page.

    Congratulations, you've unnlocked Crysis: Rez HD mode.

    Also, the tilde (~) brings up the console in most games, just in case you weren't aware.

    Maybe Crysis, like many other previous-AAA titles aren't optimized with new GPU's and OS's?

    Up to you. Maybe a list of pro and cons would help.

    Get the new patches and Nvidia Drivers (there were performance boosts in Crysis Warhead by like 30% I think)

    Huh?  I've had no issues with Crysis at all.  I never bluescreen on any of my games.  What kind of POS you running?

    @SeriouslyNow:

    AMD 5600+, SLI'd 8800GT and 2 gigs of RAM. It's older now, but shouldn't have crashed nearly as many times as it did with Crysis when that rig was new.
