Darksiders: PS3 vs 360 comparison.
Not sure how legit this is, but a site did a Comparison of the two versions.

Personally, I think ill wait for Lensoftruth or Eurogamer. But from this, the 360 version looks darker, and the PS3 version, as usual, look lighter and maybe even kinda washed out.
The real test is to also compare the framerates. From those pics, though, the 360 has slightly better antialiasing. All of those still images make the game look a lot worse than it did in the quick look, though.
i've heard time and time again, the brightness difference is just a result of how video capture works for each system. i've compared a few games for myself (such as red faction guerrilla, street fighter iv and modern warfare 2) without noticing any difference on my tv set, so i'm inclined to believe the vid-capture explanation for the consistent brightness difference between the systems.

"Yeah, it seems that whevever some shitty site does a "360 vs PS3" comparison they turn off Full Range in an attempt to make the PS3 version look more washed out, getting more pageviews, which is getting them more ad revenue. =
But its like this for all Comaprison sites. Lens of Truth and Eurogamer has the PS3 version brighter to.
The Gamespot review mentions the 360 version has horrid screen tearing and a poor frame rate during combat that it is noticeable enough to distract you from the game. Sounds like technical issues across the board on that version. Their review mentions the PS3 version from a technical standpoint looks and feels fine.
As for the images linked in the original post, pretty easy to turn contrast ratios up and down for those comparisons. Wait till a more reputable site does something like this before judging each version of the game. That being said most reputable sites don't do the "X vs Y version image comparison" stuff as it is complete crap to begin with.
But like I said for now Gamespot's review makes plenty of mention that the 360 version suffers from a nasty frame rate during combat and horrid screen tearing when the camera is rotated so take from that what you will.
Vigil is reportedly working on a patch for the 360 version to fix the graphical issues.

" Does anyone else think this game just looks bad (graphically speaking)? "No, I think it is incredible looking, graphically speaking.
Shame about the screen tearing, hopefully they get that fixed up soon.
If people just don't like the game and it fails, fine - but I'd hate to see an issue like that become the cause of this game's downfall.

I can totally understand how it wouldn't appeal to others - but man oh man it is right up my alley visually.
The game is the same. Just one put on a BlueRay disk and other on a DVD. Programmers laugh at this all the time. It is the same game.

" The game is the same. Just one put on a BlueRay disk and other on a DVD. Programmers laugh at this all the time. It is the same game. "One difference being that the 360 version does suffer pretty badly from screen tearing.
But there is at least a patch coming.
