Anyone interested or even herd of this upcoming game? Demigod is an RTS/RPG hybrid from the makers of Supreme commander. Sounds like an awesome mix of genres and looks like it could be a great game. Check out the trailer that amazingly is running on the games engine!

Yeah, I'll be buying it off Impulse (same service from the company that developed Galactic Civilizations and published Sins of a Solar Empire) when it comes out, looks very interesting.

the more i look and read about that game, i think its an MMO, can anyone confirm that?

This should go in the Demigod board, but yeah, I totally want to play this even though I have only seen screenshots and have not a clue what the gameplay is all about.

It's an RTS/RPG.  You'll be playing a demigod with some level of RTS aspects (followers who battle for you or something).  The online aspect won't be MMO, but is instead like how many people play your demigod and their wins or something.  Basically, how well you play your avatar will determine the territory and power of the demigod.

Nope VAC, it's supposed to have similar gameplay to the Warcraft 3 custom game DOTA.  Here's taken from Wikipedia:
" The gameplay consists of elements borrowed from both of those genres and is described as an action/RPG/RTS hybrid partly inspired by the Warcraft III map Defense of the Ancients. The game gives the player the ability to choose certain heroes that rely on either their own power as a single unit or the power of creating multiple units.

right thanks guys i didn't know, it just sounded like an mmo to start with.... i'll definitely keep an eye on it then...

Yeah I have seen it before. It looks pretty awesome to me, but I want to see more info before I go crazy about it.

I have heard of it and I'm a huge fan of Gas Powered Games so this is way up there on my list.

Its the first I have heard of it. But it seems kinds cool.

I have two half off codes (bringing the game to $20) for Demigod if anyone is interested.  The game has gotten better and better and at this point is right on par with HoN and LoL in terms of DOTA clones.  New heroes are on the horizon so the community should pick back up soon.
