Hellfire is the official (but non-canon) singleplayer expansion pack for Diablo that was developed by Sierra instead of Blizzard. It adds new dungeons, character classes, and items, but was never supported in the same way as the base game.
The second in the Devil Summoner series, Soul Hackers follows a group called the Spookies as they attempt to stop an overflow of demons in a city where the internet is all-pervasive. Released in 1997, it anticipated a future dominated by the internet and depicted a fictional virtual-reality cyberspace city called Paradigm X.
Powered by the Quake Engine, Hexen II is a first-person shooter that follows one of four different character classes as they fight their way through several distinct continents searching for Eidolon, the last Serpent Rider.
A full-fledged sequel to id Software's Doom series of first-person shooters, developed by Midway exclusively for the Nintendo 64.
An isometric action RPG that takes place in and below the town of Tristram. Gothic fantasy weapons and spells are used to defeat hordes of monsters from hell through randomized dungeon levels, continuously gaining experience points, gold, and a variety of equipment to bolster the hero's monster-killing potency along the way.
Featuring two new 32-level episodes for Doom II: Hell on Earth, Final Doom is a community-developed standalone expansion that features some of the most difficult level sets (designed to finally break even the most hardcore of Doom veterans).
Master Levels for Doom II is an expansion pack for Doom II comprising 21 "Master Levels" officially sanctioned by id Software. It also contains Maximum Doom, a compilation of nearly 3,000 user-created levels.
A fantasy first-person action game and the first released game utilizing the Build Engine.
Released in 1995, The Ultimate Doom refined elements of deathmatch, and added a completely new episode of content to the original game.
After the events of Doom, Hell has found its way to Earth. The last living scientists develop a plan to evacuate what's remaining of the human race with enormous space ships. Unfortunately, the demons have taken control of the only spaceport, and it's up to the nameless space marine to take it back.
A direct spin-off to Tengai Makyou II: Manjimaru staring Kabuki Danjirou.
A Legend of Zelda inspired game in which the player guides a character who converts non-believers, fights demons, and ultimately goes up against Satan himself.
An action-RPG published by Enix for the SNES. The player has to restore the world above by delving deeper into an immense dungeon.
Tengai Makyou: Ziria is an RPG released by Hudson Soft for the PC Engine in 1989.
A role-playing game in which the player must gather a party of four warriors and battle the evil Lord Terarin. Originally released in 1986 for Japanese home computers, it was ported to the Master System in 1987 and translated into English.
Fight for the survival of mankind against the armies of Hell.
