Grace is the member of the Avatar Program on Pandora. When Ryan Lorenz arrived there and joined up with Ni'awve clan, Grace went to meet him and Sylwanin, who she saw for the first time. She suggested that they'd go to the Tree of Souls.
18 Years later, Grace was Working at the School House for the Na'vi that she and René Harper created, Grace met with Rai'uk who came there to speak with Sylwanin. Grace assured Rai'uk that all humans are not out for war, and some are there to actually learn from the Na'vi and teach them.
Grace Augustine welcomes "Able" Ryder to Pandora and gives him/her some helpful tips. She also directs Ryder to work under Victor Monroe.
When Jake Sully arrives on Pandora, and starts fighting against RDA, Grace finally joins the plot against RDA. She is shot by Colonel Quaritch when they tried to escape Hell's Gate. She dies while her soul is attempted to be transferred into her Avatar body.
