Cool... I guess. It's no secret that the game allowed facial customisation, and I was able to make my Origin characters look pretty awesome in the past.
@Abyssfull: I really could not make my character look good. It's not exactly great that a mage capable of decimating armies of darkspawn looks like a puppy.

If it wasn't for the amount of polygons in that still frame or the resolution of the textures, you could have told me it was a KOTOR 1 era prototype Dragon Age and I would believe you.

Origins had pile of shit beard technology. This is the one area this game beats the previous entry.

I didn't like that when fitted with a beard, the characters mouth, jaw and chin are then stuck in place on the sliders, making everyone who even has a jawline or long sideburns sharing the exact same lower facial features. Other than that I thought Origins had some good face fur, especially the Dwarves.
I remember making my first character look really good, but I've found that the facial hair kind of floats about at least an in-game centimetre away from the face.
@kingzetta: Oh damn, those look great! Thank god they improved the character creator from Origins, though I'll probably still stick to the default Hawke since that's his face on the game's cover.
Whoa. The hair isn't braided or plastic looking anymore? Awesome and nice beards. This is how Mass Effect should tackle character creator. My custom guy needs to look as good as default and fit in with everyone else. I'm totally going to make Conan o'Brien now. Bethany looks really weird in the 2nd to last picture in the first row.

The appearance probably isn't changed because all it is, is a hack for the demo that activates the character creator.
I think the character look's good to, but it doesn't fit the voice actor at all. Plus making your character is a ton of fun, Halfway through you notice something had gone terribly wrong in the creation process, and your character is eternally trapped looking like a child rapist.
@dagas: I look at her differently now that I've seen her naked.
