Nine years! it does not seem that long ago.

Ah It was yesterday! I missed it.  Happy belated Birthday old friend.

I have only one game for the system and it just sits there. I feel sorry for the little guy but good dreamcast games are hard to come by where I live.

It's sad that when Sega actually does something right...it fails. I love my Dreamcast!

Happy Belated Birthday Dreamcast. I never had you ( I waited for the ps2 instead) but  I always wanted you.

I didn't get a dreamcast until like 2005. I was too busey with my every other console around before and during that time.

The Dreamcast is strange like that.

Having existed on the fringe of the mass popularity of the internet and fading away "Early" (and marking the end of a beloved manufacturer in doing so) that motherfucker is celebrated so often, to the point where every year people are commemorating its birth.

I liked it as much as the next guy, I had fun with it, but it really is because of what I said that it is remembered as doing much more than it actually did. It was good, but other consoles were so much more.

Honestly, the "Anniversary" of the 2600, NES, SNES, PS1, and PS2, etc. aren't celebrated or remembered like this every year. The Dreamcast has this odd, often-remembered one night stand romantic vibe going on among the video game consoles.
