Definitely interested. Im hoping this will be more like the Iceland travel video and less like what Danny Boy doing. Dont get me wrong, I love what Danny is doing. Just hoping it's not exactly the same thing.

I'm excited to see what it is, though it's also a bit of an indictment of the corporate structure of video games coverage that Danny, and now Drew, had to leave heavily funded, greatly popular video game focused sites to pursue these projects independently in the ways they envision. Especially bittersweet because both projects (granted, making assumptions about what Drew will be doing) fit right in line with the mission statement of Giant Bomb and many of Jeff's own stated goals for future growth of his site.

He's filming on a train, and most of those black and white shots involve some form of transportation, plus they're almost all set in Asia. Then the logo is a combination of a compass point and video game d-pad. . .

So . . . a documentary on how flight-sim video games helped defeat Communism?

I made an album with all of the black and white images.

Each image has a number hidden in it. For example, there's a 13 in the bottom right corner of the first image. The second image has a 26 in the top right corner. What's the significance of these?

Taking inspiration from that roller coaster video, he'll review various forms of transportation in terms of how conducive they are to playing video games.

The highest rated option will be playing a game in a plane being piloted by Drew.

I'm also getting a travel the world, gaming in other cultures vibe from this. If he does something like that, that would be cool.

Are the numbers a set of coordinates? Has Drew gone full ARG on us?

Good for Drew going out travelling and working independently, but I can't say I am super interested in this type of coverage. Drew never struck me as the host type either, but I'm sure it will work out well for him.

Just speculating, if Drew is doing a travel show somewhat similar to what Arino does on Gamecenter CX, where he goes to arcades and other places to observe games culture, play games and talk to people, I think that would be super neat and a nice contrast to what Danny is doing.

If those are decimal coordinate numbers, there would have to be multiple coordinates and I don't know how you would know in what order to put them in.

Danny had binary code language in his teaser which could easily be translated, but these are obviously not just 1's and 0's.

Isn't traveling around the world and EMBEDDING with indie developers Carla(Kara???) Ellison's thing? That's the vibe I'm getting from this, though I don't expect Drew to be the journalist himself considering his field of expertise.

My guess is a combination travel/gaming website. It combines 3 things Drew likes, travel, games, and making videos about traveling and games.

I would be terrified to roll the dice on something risky like Danny (and now apparently) Drew are doing.

Mainly, I'm happy that this seems to focus on travel, which is exactly what I was hoping Drew would go to do, something travel related. Beyond that, the numbers are weird and I can't wait for someone to figure out their significance (if any).
