    F-Zero At its Fastest

F-Zero GX is easily the best game in the F-Zero franchise. However, it does have flaws. I'll go over the flaws first.

The game is extremely hard. The difficulties don't seem to match what they claim to be, and this is coming from an eight-year F-Zero player. F-Zero GX's four difficulty levels are much harder. Novice (Easy) is more like a medium level, Standard (Medium), is hard, Expert (Hard) is very hard, and Master (Hardest) is freaking unbelievable. And I love racing games. It's my favorite genre, and I've been playing them ever since I was eight. F-Zero GX is one of the hardest games I can think of. I still can't get past the last level on Story Mode, thanks to the next complaint...

The controls. They are a bit slippery. Even when used to the controls, I still can't make some turns that I want to make. F-Zero controls usually aren't very slippery, but the combination of slippery controls and a slight over-sensitivity when the stick's used makes the controls overall wonky.

The characters are poorly acted, and poorly animated. Sure the effects have amazing quality, but the movement seem unrealistic, and the voices are so generic that I've seen better acting in Mystery Science Theater.

    Now for the pros.

Utterly fantastic graphics make very realistic scenery. It's like if Crayola made a Michael Bay movie.

In GX, the series' level design is at its utter peak. The races remain in that style that calls for quick action, and the 3D environments are unbelievable.

There's a lot of content in the game that can be used to make a wide variety of custom vehicles. If you want the best parts, get a few levels in story mode done.

Well-balanced vehicles make a very good roster, which is not a usual aspect in F-Zero games. Usually, the cars have very different stats, but they seem to be more balanced, which means it's possible to win with any vehicle.

The soundtrack can be really cool. Sure the remixes are a little lanme, but the soundtrack offers a lot of cool new tracks.

F-Zero GX has some flaws to work out. If they were worked out in a remake, it would be the greatest racing game ever.

Remains one of the best racers 0

Even years after its release F-Zero GX remains one of the best racing games ever made.  Having previously created the arcade hit Daytona USA, SEGA’s Amusement Vision had all the experience necessary to tackle Nintendo’s long-running futuristic racing series. They brought together all of the traditional F-Zero elements (recharge strips, boost power, arrow zippers, and ramps) while introducing some new ideas into the mix.  Beautiful Racing Venues The designers at Amusement Vision clearly...

      Doesn't Disappoint 0

The Gamecube was disappointing not just to me, who once considered  himself a hardcore Nintendo fan, but for many people. All throughout the GCN's life, it seemed as if Nintendo just didn't get it. People didn't want a water pack strapped to Mario, a vacuum on Luigi or Cel-shading on Link. People didn't want to buy cables and connect their Gameboys to their Gamecubes, they didn't want two characters on one Mario Kart either. People didn't want Fox McCloud to leave his Arwing and going out on adv...
