Fallout 3 or Gears of WAr 2. My personel 2 favorites of the e3 games. but if I had to choose it would be GOW2 how about you guys?

Neither looks really interesting, and I haven't played either series.

Definitely Gears of War 2. Fallout 3 looks great, but doesn't come close to Gears 2 in my opinion, especially as I loved the first Gears.

Never played a Fallout game, though I'm very interested in Fallout 3. I'm going with Gears because I'm extremely excited for Gears of War 2.

Fallout 3 easily.

Oblivion was amazing, and Fallout 3 is basically an improved Oblivion with a different theme. And I never enjoyed Queers of War.

I think Fallout takes the cake, I did enjoyed Gears of War but in reality I will spend much more time with Fallout than Gears even with the multi-player modes.

Fallout 3; mainly because Gears of War 2 looks like more of the same, mind you, with insanely awesome additions.
But it looks like Bethesda is doing a lot with Fallout 3, so I'm more excited for that, even though I'm really looking forward to Gears of War 2 as well.

They are two completly different games. It depends on what you prefer I guess. I personally would go with fallout

I would have to say Gears 2 just because of how much I liked the first one. Gears 2 looks to be twice the game that it's predecessor was.

Aside from the fact that they are both two completelly different games... I'll go for Fallout 3.

Im going to buy them both anyways, but if i had to choose itd definatly be fallout 3, and not just cause im a bit of a fanatic. fallout 3 is just so different from its predecessors (which could be good and bad) but i like that. although ive only seen videos and havent actually played it gears just kinda looks like gears of war 1.5 to me. i remember when sequels were leaps and bounds apart from each other. ie half-life and half-life 2, or quake 2 and quake 3. that was when sequels brought in a new era of innovation and technology in the gaming world.

im not expert, but thats just my two cents.

Fallout 3 because of the RPG aspect.

It's like choosing Between Cake and Pie. Therefore an accurate answer is impossible.
But seriously, Fallout 3.

I'd say Gears 2 if you like multiplayer, Fallout 3 if you like Oblivion.

I'll naturally get both, but I'll get far more play time out of Fallout 3.  So that'd have to be my choice.

Fallout 3 will be my purchase.
Plus I don't own a 360, or intend to buy one.

fallout 3 for sure both games look really good but fallout3  is just goin to be bigger and better

Will most likely play both as one of my room mates is a hard core Fallout fan.

But I'll be personally just picking up Gears 2.
