    My brother plays fallout on his vista comptuter , but i try it on Xp and it crashes upon startup , what could be the problem,

    I believe that fallout 3 requires you to have vista, not entirely sure though

    Edit: just looked up the min specs and it says xp, make sure you meet all the other rquirements though

     

    • Windows XP/Vista
    • 1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
    • 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD 3000 (1.8 GHz) or equivalent processor
    • Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)

    Windows xp Service pack 3
    1.5GB of ram
    3.06GHz , intel pentium 4 processor
    Direct X 9.0c And my 128Vram With an ATI X200 Express card


    Could it be a grapics card problem

    @sohail1234: sounds like a graphics card problem. i think you need one with 256mb RAM. go to fallout 3 website for full list of supported graphics cards

    Yeah that graphics card is nowhere near enough to run FO3.
